Cladding & Decking

Domestic Cladding

Private House, Pembrokeshire

Softwood cladding is used here to blend a new extension to an old Welsh cottage. This heavy duty type of wany edged boarding is very effective in a rural setting.

Bird Hides

Harrier Hide at Martin Mere

Design based on the wing pattern of the Marsh Harrier, made from Larch.

Peter Scott Bird Hide, Penclacwydd, Llanelli

Cost effective and practical, this bird hide is made from tanalised Douglas Fir. Its wany-edge cladding enables it to integrate well into its environment while providing strong, weather proof protection.

Observatory at Kew Gardens

This structure was woven out of 2km of Welsh Green Oak.

Selection of our Cladding Projects

The Gateway Hide, Penclacwydd, Llanelli

A Mick Petts design, individually produced oak cladding was used to 'feather' the bird hide entrance to provide a unique, eye catching entrance to this visitor attraction.

Canoe Safari, Slimbridge, Gloucestershire

The canoe storage shed in Slimbridge features softwood wany-edge cladding to give an attractive, practical finish to the building.

Wellybootland Kiosk

The kiosk is a unique design which makes the most of its softwood cladding.

Domestic Decking, Llandeilo

Our heavy duty 38mm standard decking can look very attractive in a domestic setting. This Douglas Fir decking, balustrade and steps have been installed on a post and beam substructure. Decking is available in oak or softwood and in a wide variety of sizes.

Non-slip inserts can be integrated directly into the decking boards for extra safety.
